Come Learn About Maintaining an Orchard on March 15th from 1-2pm

Our first FREE, hands-on workshop this year will take place on Saturday, March 15th from 1-2pm. JayDee Gunnell, USU Extension Specialist on Horticulture will be teaching us how to prune young fruit trees. Bring your own pruning shears or borrow one on-site to practice on the apple, peach, plum, and apricot trees in our orchard.

We will also be installing t-posts and fencing around each of our 18 fruit trees to deter the neighborhood deer from their routine springtime snacking. Please come and help us! We will also be doing some clean-up of our raised beds as we prepare for the 2025 growing season.

No prior knowledge is needed to participate, and all ages and skill levels are welcome! Come meet your fellow gardeners, garden enthusiasts, and community members. You do not need to have a plot at the garden to engage in any of our garden activities. We look forward to seeing you around the garden (930 N 400 W in Logan) next Saturday!
